The Fur Trade

What is the fur trade?

1. Find and post 5 pictures of the fur trade. Explain what you see in each picture in 5-8 sentences. (Remember to post where you got the picture from!)

Raccoon, wolf, fox.

The fur trades came from those mammals are hanged on house beam. They looked varnished and valuable. Their long and soft tails drooped over the beam and suspended in mid air. Unfortunately, all of them died. They were hunted by aborigines for changing goods with Europeans. Those poor animals life just equal to cold irons and steels.

This picture shows a very satire scene to audience. The young model on the left with haughty and indifferent eyes and slim body. She is doing a post with cold smile. In her right hand a scary sign enters into audience’s eye—— a carcass without its fur. It looks very painful. It must be put up a last-ditch struggle before the real die. Ruthless, struggle is no use for it, the poor deer was shown with the lady.

The Sea Mink in this picture is one of them.It was shut in a firm cage for using its fur.If the audience look into its eyes which are eager for escape and go back to nature, you must feel sad.Its neck turns around to one side to use to look outside clearly. Its claws pulls down on the cage are like ask people to let itself go back to home.

This picture reveals that people sell animals or fur trade to a special store. This store accept every valuable goods that from animals' body. The storekeepers lend an attentive ear to the goods and guess their value, then they might discuss with the people who sell the fur about prices. Some of the sellers wear feathers on their head, they might be native people.Their also has a little native girl who is watching the die goods.Their parents just teach their children to know how to do "fur business "with storekeepers.

This picture includes many kinds of cats which were got lost from their home or wide cats. All of them are shuted in cage. They are pushing and squeezing in small cages.Every cage looks like having more than ten cats. Because of the crowed feeling, each of them shows suffering face. But they don't know that the much more suffering event is coming. All of them would die and without their furs.

blog my week

I hope that I could learn a lot this week, but after learning those things I almost remembered nothing. It's difficult for me to remember all the thing about the explorers. Both of the adventures about the explorers John Cabot and Jacques Cartier are exciting narratives for me to learn. unfortunately ,Those experiences mixed together belong to my mind.I hope that I can arrange them on the weekend. Also, I learnt something new and important about Literary Essay. It's very useful for my provincial exam. I need to learn more words because it's one of the most important part in provincial exam.I should study hard.

Literary essay

One of the qualities that most people admire in others is bravery. It's extremely hard to show one's bravery on some serious promblems such as facing death or risk into dangerous. The protagonists in “SirGawain and Green knight”and "The Sniper" demostrated what's the bravery should be.

In the story "Sir Gawain and Green Knight",Sir Gawain is a brave protagonist who takes up the chanllenge from the Green knight, isn't afraid of threatened and stick to his promise. He revealed his bravery when he took up the risk from the Green Kinght who were laughing at the kights of the Round table. For instance,he stept forward and said"No one laughs at the knights.Hand me that axe and I will strike your laughing head from your body!"In essence,it shows his bravery because he can't bear one's satire and took up the chanllenge no matter what would happen. He realized that the knights of the round table are bravest. Moreover,he isn't afraid of the threaten from the Green Knghit."He said 'no man have ever survived a blow from me'"Hence, he is brave. No one wined him before, even if the Green Knight let him take a pledge and threatened him that he would have right to strike him back.Sir Gawain still doesn't afraid. Finally,he stays faithful to his promise.Nobody could stir him from his revolve."he said'I don't wan't want to do.But I still want to go to the Green kinght Castle.'"There fore,His bravery triumphed over the fear of death. He is brave enough. In summary ,Sir Gawain is a real brave knight. He took up challenge and facing difficult even if met death.he is a brave knight who had past all the test to provide himself.

The protagonist person in the story "The sniper"is the bravest person who does not fear of confronting war and runs a risk to see the dead enemy's face. The sniper is the main character who demonstrate bravery by isn't confronting war without fear. For example, "his face is a face of student but his eyes had the cold gleam of the fanatic."Hence,he is brave because the plenty of courage came into his eyes during the war, there was totally nothing frightened in his eyes but unfeeling. It shows his heart full of courage. Moreover, he revealed his bravery by running a risk going over to have a look at the dead enemy's face. In other words, even if he has killed the enemy and need to leave, he still "decide to risk going over to have a look at the enemy".Thus, it shows his plenty of courage because shots were noticed everywhere and there were enemy watching all the time. He finished his job and had a chance to leave this dangrouse place but he still decides to go for a look in the dead boy's face who has been killed. It was bolder than all the rest of bravery .All in all, bravery is the personalism of the sniper.

In summary,Both Sir Gawain and Sniper are used to being courage. showing their bravery by not afraid of facing death or fate. This is a good way for audience to learn how to deal with difficult with a bravery heart. There is nothing to match them for their courage.

Answer:
1、(June 24, 1497) landed on the coast of Newfoundland

Picture from: http://e-ducation.net/discoveryandexploration.htm

In this picture, John Cabot and his sailors found the coast of Newfoundland. He and his man were hailing and cheering for the great victory because they may have been the first Europeans to set foot on the North American mainland since the Vikings. The man who stands straight and holds up bend slightly is John Cabot, their captain. He wears windbreak, hat and boots, all of them are purple. Also, even if I can't see his face but I can still find out his sense of pride while looking at his back

Landed on the shores of Labrador

Jan.18th Time in China: 5:30pm.

I am writing this diary on the airplane which is fling to Canada. I’m too excited to believe that! I called the host and hostess “home stay mom” and “home stay dad”. The oldest daughter named Brianna. She is in middle school grade nine. When I knew that I got a big surprised! It’s because she looks very adultness and strong character but just for outward appearance, actually she is very warmth. Their second daughter named Courtney. She is really funny and clever. She uses her left hand to write words and she can play three musical instruments! She likes to communicate with me. The most funny and cute people in this family is Amber. She is six years old and she always say something very strange but interesting! She gave us necklaces that made by herself. There fore, I think I can have warm trip in Canada.
